This state covers the most arid parts of the country. It currently stand on the number 4 of the largest states in Australia. Furthermore, South Australia has a strongly arts scene and known as Festival State with about 500 festival every year.
5. Western Australia
This is one of the largest state by area in Australia. Around three quarter of the population live in Perth Capital, which is considered as the most popular city in Australia.
Western Australia is mostly covered by dersert and pristine coastline.
6. Tasmania
Tasmania is the smallest state and separated from the mainland Australia. The state was founded in the year 1804, and is the second oldest capital in Australia after Sydney. About one-fifth of the state is covered by the national parks and wild areas.

7. Australia Capital Territory ( ACT)
The state belongs to New South Wales. It is a self-government inland territory and created specifically to be the adminstrative capital of Australia.
8. Nothern Territory
The is the top end of the most popular states in Australia. The state was recognised as World Heritage Kakadu National Park for its Aboriginal art and fabulous natural beauty.
